Retraction Policy
Retraction Policy
We follow the "Retraction Guidelines" established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and Ordinance No. 145/2021 (CAPES), ensuring transparency in the review process, the integrity and quality of published content, and the processes of double-blind peer review and editing. This entails the following commitments for editors, reviewers, and authors (when applicable):
- Retracting, with proper justification (e.g., through legal provisions, similarity detection software, and self-correction tools, as well as AI detection tools such as ChatGPT and similar technologies), any gross language errors in the manuscript, defamatory content, or cases of (self-)plagiarism or automatically generated texts;
- Evaluating manuscripts without any form of discrimination;
- Not manipulating the peer review process, ensuring institutional and geographical decentralization in content evaluation, which is later verified in the list of contributors (Editorial Team) published in each issue;
- Commitment to resolving conflicts of interest and handling complaints raised by authors, editors, reviewers, or readers, which can be addressed at any time via revista.inquietude@gmail.com;
- Maintaining objectivity and dedication (e.g., through standardized evaluation and review models, as well as communication channels used by Inquietude, such as email, forums, and internal organization lists for activity tracking) at every stage, from manuscript submission to publication and any subsequent requests.
