Abstract

The article consists in explaining the philosophical-scientific aspect, as well as the scientific activity, in the formation and development of the Vienna Circle. The aim is to understand and connect historical-social factors, through recent historical research, that emphasize the importance of predecessors such as Ernst Mach, L. Boltzmann and Bernard Bolzano in the construction of a fertile soil for epistemological, philosophical and scientific questions in Europe of the Century XX, and as such a factor incited a propitious ground for the development of Vienne Circle.
