The anthropological genesis of religion in Ludwig Feuerbach

In The essence of Christianity Feuerbach develops an investigation on the human origin of God, especially in the Christian religion, and this article seeks to reconstruct the theoretical foundation of our author who, from a theory of consciousness and human essence, base a critique/uncovering of religious alienation that will allow him to demonstrate, thus, the integrally anthropological truth of God and religion, also affirming the perfection and infinity of man’s essential qualities as being aware of his kind.
