rationalism, empiricism and apriorism

Based on the bibliographic method, this article aims to discuss the main points related to the three epistemological currents that deal with the source of knowledge. It maintains as a first hypothesis that Apriorism contributed to resolve the impasse
between empirical and rationalists and, in the second hypothesis, it argues that the theory of knowledge is an open field to today's science, and makes it possible to weave a reflection in which Apriorism seeks to align with some data taken from Neuroscience and Cognitive Sciences. In conclusion, it points out the results that were achieved supporting the guiding hypotheses of this work.
