Emotional ignorance

In this work, I will discuss in Social Epistemology and Collective Intentionality the emotional ignorance as a false belief intentionally produced as a tool of patriarchy to control women, and I will highlight the emotion of guilt in this role. As a counterpoint, I will propose that the emotion of anger can be used as a tool for women emancipation, motivating the fight and resistance against oppression, as well as combating emotional ignorance. I intend to argue that ignorance about emotions in patriarchy is intentionally propagated so that women repress themselves and be seen negatively as emotional beings, thus perpetuating the power of the dominant group.
