Dear readers,

Inquietude is pleased to communicate its latest edition to the philosophical community. The set of works presented in this edition invites a deep reflection on the multiple ways of experiencing the human - from body to thought, from myth to aesthetics, from suffering to creation. Eroticism, analyzed by Ana Carolina Borges de Lacerda, reveals itself not only as a vital force, but also as a field of tension between desire and interdiction, illuminating the psychic face of modern anguish. This subjective dimension dialogues with the Nietzschean reading of Ellen Cristina Rodrigues Correia and Kelvin Felipe Weschenfelder, who identify the possibility of seeing a fusion of the Apollonian and Dionysian principles in the works of Cartier-Bresson, which reveals the ability of photography to capture both the order and beauty as the chaos and intensity of life. Speaking of chaos of life, Enzo Franciso Torrecilha Queiroz exposes the critical, voluntary and creative strategies of Camus before the absurdities of human experience. In the same critical spirit, Letícia Machado Spinelli challenges the philosophical canon and proposes a decolonized curriculum through a problematization of the eurocentric bases of the traditional philosophical canon and its reflection in philosophy curricula. The ethics of return, discussed by Lara Passini Vaz-Tostes, proposes a philosophical-literary reflection on the gesture of return as a symbolic and ethical structure, while Rafael Eros Oliveira Rocha expands the horizon to nature and the cosmos, via Feuerbach and Coccia, suggesting an expansion of the possibilities of relation between the human and the cosmic totality of nature. The problem of evil, from the perspective of Ricœur, is the object of analysis of Vinicius Araujo da Silva Nascimento, for whom the possibility of error and deception are fundamental conditions of man. Finally, Guilherme Bezerra performs a Brazilian translation of the text [Stages of structural aesthetics] by Charles Lalo, an important figure that would play a prominent role in the foundation of a "sociological aesthetics". Together, the texts reaffirm the urgency of thinking critically about culture, subjectivity and human relations, proposing a philosophy that is at the same time critical, sensitive and transformative.

Cordially,

The Editing.
