Ethics Statement
Several ethical principles guide Inquietude's editorial practices. These include:
- Intellectual integrity;
- Excellence in scientific practice;
- Communicative transparency;
- Respect for every stage and participant in the editorial and publication process;
- Responsibility in addressing any conduct that deviates from the standards expressed herein.
Additionally, Inquietude adheres to the Academic Integrity Guide of the Federal University of Goiás, particularly regarding "good scientific practices" (which do not, at any point, contradict the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics—COPE).
Accordingly, Inquietude seeks to combat, with proper justification, any form of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, improper authorship of academic work, data fabrication and falsification, data torture, HARKing, selective reporting of results, duplicate publication, publication slicing (Salami Slicing), conflicts of interest, referencing or publishing in predatory journals, events, collections, or books, and any other demonstrably unethical practices.
