The moment of subsumption as a fatality

The Grundrisse (1857-58) by Karl Marx in perspective

Abstract

Through the controversy about the centrality of work, the present text has the pretension to elucidate, through the Grundrisse, the category of subsumption, in which it is supposed to be able to articulate through this, not only the thematic about the centrality of the work, but also the fundamental condition of his criticism. That is, it intends to interweave the polemic, the theoretical-ontological category of subsumption, in perspective to the way it presents itself in the Grundrisse. This procedure consists, therefore, in bringing the Grundrisse to the debate, and of analyzing the manner in which the category of subsumption shows itself as fatality in this particular.
