Meeting points between Nietzsche and Foucault

The aim of this study is to investigate some possible relations between the conceptions of the philosophers Friedrich Nietzsche and Michel Foucault regarding the constitution of the modern State and of a new subject. It will analyze the appearing of the art of government, as proposed by Foucault, which focus on the construction of the modern subjectivity. Meanwhile, it will examine the concept of peaceful spirit, postulated by Nietzsche, as the subject forged by modernity because of a supposed peace deployment. Therefore, it intends to establish a few connections between the constitution of the modern State and the subjects, the former seen as prowess of art, which has conducted the latter in the latest centuries.
